Health information

StaveMD is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your health information. Health information you provide during the medical intake, consultations, and treatment — such as your medical history, symptoms, prescriptions, and communications with your care team — is collected and maintained by our HIPAA-covered telehealth partner, OpenLoop Health, and its affiliated professional entities, and is protected in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state health-privacy laws. How that protected health information may be used and disclosed, and the rights you have with respect to it — including your rights to access, obtain a copy of, and request corrections to your health records — are described in OpenLoop Health’s Notice of Privacy Practices.

We do not sell health information, and we do not use or disclose your health information for advertising or marketing purposes without your authorization. Health information is safeguarded through administrative, technical, and physical measures, including encryption in transit, access controls limiting access to personnel who need it to provide your care, and Business Associate Agreements with service providers that handle it. The anonymous eligibility check on this marketing site is not tied to your identity, and its responses are not transmitted to our servers. To exercise your rights regarding your health records, contact your care team through the patient portal or email privacy@stavemd.com and we will route your request to the appropriate party.

We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to measure site usage and advertising performance. These tools set cookies and may share limited data with Google and Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing
